Brexit is Happening!

The UK have left the EU and the transition period will end as of 31st Dec 2020. Any trade between the UK and Ireland will require Customs Clearance from 1st January 2021.
We will be working to ensure a smooth implementation of customs requirements. There are several things that you need to take into consideration, and we would encourage you put in place your Brexit plan now.
Brexit Checklist
Even if a trade deal is agreed, Customs Clearance formalities will still be necessary.

- Have you an EORI Number?
- If you are located in the UK, have you a GB EORI Number?
- Have you confirmed with your customers or suppliers that they have their own EORI Number?
- Have you confirmed who will pay the Customs Declaration Admin Charges, Duty and the VAT?
- If not You – have you confirmed with the other party that they agree to pay some or all of the charges?

- Have you a deferment account or have you investigated the advantages of one?
- Have you identified the HS / Commodity Codes and proper Description of Goods? The full 10 digit reference is required to complete declarations.
- Can you provide a Commercial Invoice which includes Seller & Buyer Details, Weight, Dimensions & Piece Count of Each consignment?
